Someone else is showing up on my listing. Does that mean they stole my identity?

Not necessarily. Spokeo's listings are gathered from publicly available sources. Some public records may have inaccurate or outdated information listed, meaning that this may be someone that previously had your phone number or address some time ago. It's also possible someone may have incorrectly listed your phone number, email or address as theirs in error on a marketing survey.

If you have previously experienced other identity theft related issues, it may be worth doing additional research on the information on Spokeo.

If you do not feel comfortable with your report on Spokeo, please go to the Spokeo Opt-Out page and follow the steps provided in order to opt out your information from Spokeo.com
