My Spokeo app isn’t working/crashed. What should I do?

If the Spokeo Android app isn’t working properly or keeps crashing, here are a few things you can do to troubleshoot:

Close/Refresh Your App
If the app is frozen or unresponsive, close it, and then open it again. If you’d like, you can also restart your phone before reopening the app. 

If the app is having issues, but is still responsive, log out of your account before closing and reopening the app. After reopening, log back in your account. 

Check If You’re Logged In
Make sure that you’re logged into your account when using the app - and that you have a current paid subscription. Using the app with an expired subscription will prevent you from being able to access all of the app and search features available.

Update Your App
Double-check to make sure that you have the latest version of the app installed. Doing so can improve your app security and performance, apply bug fixes, and make sure that you have access to the newest features. Here’s how to update your Spokeo app:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap the profile icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device
  4. If there is a Spokeo update available, it’ll be labeled with "Update available." Tap Update and the Spokeo app will begin updating.
